Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This policy describes how Disputek collects, uses, and protects your data.

1. What we collect

When you use Disputek, you may upload EDI documents (PO, ASN, invoice, and chargeback reports) for processing. We also collect your name, email address, company name, and usage data (such as which features you use and when you log in).

2. How we use your data

We use your uploaded documents solely for:

  • Cross-referencing to flag discrepancies between your four documents
  • Classifying discrepancies using retailer-specific reason codes
  • Generating dispute packets and templated dispute letters
  • Displaying exposure dashboards and recovery tracking

We do not share your data with retailers. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Data retention

Your processed documents and dispute packets are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@disputek.org. We will remove your data within 30 days of a verified request.

4. Data security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Portal credentials, when provided for automation features, are stored encrypted with separate credential sets per retailer per customer; no shared credential pools.

See our Security page for full details.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies, if enabled, are anonymized and used solely to improve the product.
